You will find a variety of service activities for kids of all ages focused on a multitude of issues. You can search by keyword, location, age, and whether or not the activity is suited for a group. You do not need to register with Kids Connect or login to search the database; only to sign up for an event. If you sign up for an event through our site, your registration will go directly to the agency and they will contact you directly to answer questions and facilitate your participation.

The opportunities in the Kids Connect Search Engine all benefit a specific agency. Most are working with agencies in North Carolina, tied to a specific county or "Location" and many of these have a date associated with the activity – such as a special event or regular volunteer work day.”

You can also search by "Type". There are many project ideas where you help agencies and efforts that are not necessarily in your area but that can be done “Anywhere, Anytime”. "International Impact" opportunities help children work locally to connect with positive change overseas. "Older Youth/ Extended Commitment" are for young people in their late teens/ early 20s who want to spend several months or years making a difference in our world. Finally, "Volunteer Vacations" include opportunities for families who want to include service in their travel.
