Lunch
"caterer" - Provide lunch for construction volunteers and
Habitat families - Take food to a worksite on Thursdays,
Fridays and Saturdays around lunchtime. Individuals and/
or groups could commit to the time slot or another date
on a one-time or regular basis. Groups can sign up for a
regular slot to go together or to coordinate a rotation
or schedule among themselves.
Construction
worker - Help with the construction of a Habitat house.
For children ages 16 and older.
Support
the
HFH ReStore.Folks can also support Habitat by shopping at
the Johnston County HFH Restore. The inventory consist of
building materials, such as lumber, doors/frames, flooring,
carpeting, electrical fixtures, fire places, as well as
appliances, furniture, and interior and exterior fixtures
for the home and garden. Our inventory changes daily, and
our prices are 50%-70% lower than other home improvement
center prices. All operating profits from ReStore sales
go into Habitat's building program, helping provide adequate
housing for Johnston County families in need.
