The Bulletin Board can be used by parents and/or group leaders in two ways to share information upcoming activities:

COMMUNITY - Local groups or individuals that are spearheading kid-friendly community service projects or events that they want to publicize can post information on the Bulleting Board. If you have a project or event that you want to promote, e-mail Kids Connect to let us help!

COORDINATING - Local groups can use the Bulletin Board to organize and coordinate a community service projects among their members. Groups can post all relevant information about the activity including date, time, location and contact information, as well as links to maps, emails and agency websites. Members can be directed go to this site for information and sign up for the activity. E-mail Kids Connect to let us help!

Wanted - Teens with an interest in sewing!!! - Binding Threads - This project was recently started by a local, high school senior. The group makes attachable/detachable carryall totes that the elderly and others who need the use of a walker can use to help carry their belongings with them. These totes will be donated to local healthcare facilities who have patients who need them. The group is small at the moment but looking to grow - Any teen with sewing experience and access to a sewing machine is welcome to volunteer and help with this nonprofit, community service project.For more information, check out www.bindingthreads.org.
